I liked it … I wish they showed more conflicts with the family about Bobby coming to terms with his sexuality. But I am glad they did not shy away from the gay “kiss”. I also liked how they pointed out how the Bible can be interpreted to suite someone’s ignorance. And of course when Bobby made his final decision in life, I had tears.

I really liked this movie. I'm glad it didn't go down a stereotypical route. There was just a normal gay kid with one of the worst possible circumstances. The ending was the best when his mother hugged a kid who reminded her of Bobby. Overall, this was a very moving movie.
